The Standalone 5-Pad Capacitive Touch Sensor Breakout (AT42QT1070) is the easiest way to add touch-sensitive inputs to your projects without needing a microcontroller. Operating on 1.8–5.5V DC, it supports up to five conductive touch pads that act as capacitive sensors. When touched, the corresponding onboard LED lights up and the output pin goes low, mimicking the function of a standard push button to ground. This makes it perfect for upgrading existing button-based projects with modern touch functionality. Only one touch is registered at a time, helping to prevent accidental multi-touch triggers. The breakout comes fully assembled and includes a stick of 0.1" header for breadboard use. Simply connect copper foil or any conductive material as touch pads, and the module takes care of the rest.
