The US1881 Hall-Effect Latching Sensor is a compact and reliable magnetic presence detector designed for a wide range of electronic applications. When exposed to a magnetic field above the operating threshold, the sensor output toggles state and remains latched until the magnetic polarity is reversed. This makes it an excellent choice for robust presence sensing, motor speed detection, and rotary encoders. Unlike fragile reed switches, the US1881 offers higher durability, low current consumption, and temperature compensation in a small TO-92 package. Its wide 3.5V–24V DC operating range ensures compatibility with microcontrollers and embedded systems, while the open-collector output allows flexible interfacing. Featured By RoboticsBD.
