The CCS811 Air Quality Sensor Module is a digital gas sensor that measures eCO2 (equivalent carbon dioxide) and TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) levels, allowing accurate air quality monitoring. Powered by AMS’s micro-hotplate technology, the CCS811 delivers faster heating, lower power consumption, and a smaller footprint compared to traditional gas sensors. The onboard ADC and MCU process sensor data internally and output results via the I²C interface for easy connection with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other controllers.
It supports configurable sampling modes (250 ms, 1 s, 10 s, 60 s, and sleep), balancing performance and low power consumption—ideal for both fixed and portable applications.
