The MP-4 gas sensor module is a semiconductor-type sensor designed for detecting combustible gases such as methane (CH₄) and natural gas. Using advanced flat-type semiconductor manufacturing technology, the sensor integrates a micro Al₂O₃ ceramic heater and a metal oxide semiconductor layer with high sensitivity and fast response.
When exposed to combustible gases, the sensor’s conductivity changes proportionally to the gas concentration, providing a measurable analog voltage output. This makes it ideal for household, commercial, and industrial gas leak detection, fire prevention systems, and air quality safety monitoring.
