This upgraded version improves measurement accuracy with built-in temperature compensation, enhanced stability, and stronger anti-interference filtering. Featuring six selectable working modes, long-distance detection up to 600cm, and a low blind zone of 20cm, it is ideal for reversing radar, obstacle detection, sewer measurement, and harsh-environment sensing.

    Working Modes Overview

    Mode 0 Trigger pulse width output (default mode)
    Mode 1 UART automatic output every 100ms
    Mode 2 UART controlled output using 0x55 command
    Mode 3 Automatic PWM output every 200ms
    Mode 4 Low-power PWM mode with ultra-low standby current
    Mode 5 Digital switch output with factory-set threshold (default 1.5m)

    How It Works

    • A 10us trigger pulse initiates ranging
    • The module emits eight 40kHz ultrasonic pulses
    • If an echo returns, the module outputs a pulse proportional to distance
    • Distance is calculated as High level time multiplied by speed of sound divided by two
    • If no echo is detected within 40ms, the module automatically resets
