    Product Description

    The Qw/ST Pad is a compact, chainable I2C game controller module designed to add multiple physical buttons and indicator LEDs to projects using Raspberry Pi, Raspberry Pi Pico, RP2040, RP2350, and other I2C-capable controllers.

    It provides a familiar gamepad-style layout with large, tactile buttons for user input, making it ideal for games, menus, robotics control, interactive art, and educational projects. Communication is handled entirely over I2C, so only two signal wires (plus power and ground) are required.

    The board includes dual Qw/ST connectors, allowing easy daisy-chaining with other Qwiic / STEMMA QT devices. By changing cuttable address jumpers on the back, up to four Qw/ST Pads can be used on the same I2C bus—perfect for multiplayer or multi-input setups.

    • 8 large user buttons: Up, Down, Left, Right, A, B, X, Y

    • 2 small control buttons: “+” and “–” (ideal for settings or menu control)

    • 4 user-controllable white LEDs for status or feedback

    • I2C-based input via TCA9555 I/O expander

    • Dual Qw/ST connectors (Qwiic / STEMMA QT compatible)

    • Chainable design – connect multiple controllers on one bus

    • Fully assembled – no soldering required
