Description

The Robotic Arm Edge Kit is a remote-controlled robotic arm kit with five degrees of freedom, a 3.5oz (100g) lifting capacity, and an LED light. Using five motors with gearboxes, the Edge has a 120° wrist motion, a 300° elbow motion, a 180° shoulder motion, a 270° base motion, and a 0-1.77" (0-4.5cm) gripping motion. RoboticsBD

This Robotic Arm Kit comes as unassembled. you have to assemble it by yourself. RoboticsBD

With Robotic Arm Edge, command the gripper to open and close Features a wrist motion of 120 degrees, an extensive elbow range of 300 degrees, a base rotation of 270 degrees, base motion of 180 degrees, vertical reach of 15", horizontal reach of 12.6" and lifting capacity of 100g. WOW! Some of the added features include a search light design on the gripper and a safety gear audible indicator is included on all five gear boxes to prevent any potential injury or gear breakage during operation. Total command and visual manipulation using the 5s: five switch wired controller, five motors and five joints. 

The second-generation Robotic arm kit, the Robotic Arm Edge, teaches the basic mechanics and electronics of robot arm construction and control. Using five motors with gearboxes, the Edge has five degrees of freedom: a 120° wrist motion, a 300° elbow motion, a 180° shoulder motion, a 270° base motion, and a 0-1.77" (0-4.5cm) gripping motion. When one of the gearboxes encounters excessive resistance to motion, the gearbox will make a noise that alerts you to stop the arm’s motion in that direction. Illuminating whatever the gripper is holding, a white LED is mounted to the “hand” of the arm.

An illustrated manual guides you through assembly, which requires only a Phillips screwdriver, long-nose pliers and diagonal cutters; no soldering is required.

Four ‘D’ batteries are required but not included. Featured By RoboticsBD.
