The MD30-60 Force Sensing Resistor (FSR) is a flexible, thin pressure sensor designed to measure force through changes in resistance. With a 30mm diameter sensing area, it can detect forces from 150g up to 20kg, making it suitable for applications requiring touch, squeeze, or pressure detection. Its resistance decreases as more force is applied, enabling easy analog interfacing with microcontrollers such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi through a simple voltage divider circuit. At just 0.45mm thick, lightweight, and featuring a peel-and-stick backing, it is easy to integrate into embedded electronics, OEM products, and experimental setups. While not intended for precise weight measurements, this sensor is highly reliable for detecting presence, pressure, and force in consumer electronics, robotics, and testing equipment.
