Description

The MG996R 10kg Servo is a type of motor that is commonly used in robotics and control applications. It is a high-torque servo motor that is capable of delivering up to 10kg of force. The motor is fully metal, meaning that it has a metal casing and gears, which provides durability and strength. The MG996R Servo is widely used in robotic projects such as arms and legs for humanoid robots, remote control vehicles, and model aircraft. It operates using pulse-width modulation (PWM) and is controlled by sending a series of pulses to the motor, which determines the position of the motor shaft. This servo motor requires a higher current and cannot be powered directly from the Arduino Uno or Mega. You will need to provide an additional 5V, 3A power supply in conjunction with the Arduino.

Please do not manually rotate the motor or gear shaft by hand, as this could cause permanent damage to the motor.
