The 6DOF Accelerometer Gyroscope GY-521 MPU-6050 is a compact and powerful motion tracking module that combines a 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope into a single chip. Built around the MPU-6050 sensor, this module features a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter, delivering precise and stable motion data output through the I2C communication protocol.
Operating between 3V and 5V, the GY-521 module easily interfaces with popular development boards such as Arduino, STM32, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi. It supports selectable gyroscope ranges (±250, ±500, ±1000, ±2000 °/s) and accelerometer ranges (±2g, ±4g, ±8g, ±16g). The built-in Digital Motion Processor (DMP™) offloads complex motion fusion calculations from the main microcontroller.
