How It Works
The RPI-1031 Angle Sensor functions using optical principles, detecting rotation using a light-emitting diode (LED) and two photosensitive transistors:
- At rest, the LED is blocked, and both transistors are off, resulting in a low output.
- As the sensor rotates, one transistor receives light, and the other remains blocked, creating a high-low signal pattern.
- At full exposure, both transistors detect light, generating a high-high signal output.
- Further rotation reverses the signals, allowing for precise angle tracking.
