The AS7341 is an advanced 11-channel multispectral color and light sensor, ideal for color analysis, ambient light monitoring, and spectral research.
It measures light intensity across multiple wavelengths from 350 nm to 1000 nm, covering visible and near-infrared (NIR) regions, making it suitable for both color sensing and environmental light analysis.
The sensor integrates 6 independent ADC channels for simultaneous parallel sampling and multiple optical filters to capture detailed spectral data.
It features 8 visible-light channels, 1 near-infrared (NIR) channel, and 1 clear channel (no filter). An additional flicker detection channel helps detect ambient light flicker at 50 Hz or 60 Hz, providing valuable environmental insights.
The AS7341 also supports GPIO synchronization output and I²C communication, making it easy to interface with microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
