The TOF400C Laser Distance Ranging Sensor is a high-precision time-of-flight (ToF) module based on the VL53L1X chip, designed for accurate and reliable distance measurement up to 400 cm. Utilizing ST’s FlightSense™ technology and a SPAD (Single Photon Avalanche Diodes) array, it measures absolute distance regardless of the target’s color or surface finish.
Operating at an infrared wavelength of 940 nm with advanced optical filtering, it delivers stable performance even under strong ambient light conditions. With a wide 27° field of view, a 50 Hz measurement rate, and 1D gesture detection capability, this sensor is ideal for robotics, automation, and object detection applications.
